Majorca

Return to Home Page

We were a little nervous about Majorca despite the recomendations, too many news reports about Palma Nova and Magaluf. We didn't go there but the rest of the island that we went to was really good. The scenery was great, steep, wild and exciting. The diving was really good with interesting underwater formations, plenty of fish and 20m plus visibility. Oh and the water was warm. Plenty of interesting places to visit. The weather was a bit hot in July but the hills look superb for walking in. We stayed in Colonia Santa Jordi, Porto de Pollenca and Porto de Soller. All nice places with good hotels and plenty of restaurants.
